The purpose of the Department of Research is to assist students, residents, faculty and community physicians with their research endeavors and to facilitate scholarly activity.
Services provided by the Research Department include:
- Facilitating investigative projects by students, residents, and physician;
- Designing projects and analyzing research with state-of-the-art computer facilities and slide production equipment;
- Demonstrating the important role research plays in improving the quality of medicine through an annual, community-wide research day;
- Assisting faculty, residents, and students with manuscript submissions.
The Department is also instrumental in securing grant dollars to support research and sponsored programs.
