Didactics

We spend five hours weekly attending conferences with interactive and innovative teaching techniques encouraged. These include:

Grand Rounds Book Review Journal Club M&M Toxicology Simulation
	EKG X-ray Follow-up Rounds Ultrasound EM Administration/CQI
Resident Grand Rounds Psychiatry and Ethics Oral Board Cases Resuscitation Review CORD tests

We are provided time and funding to attend one national regional EM conference of our choice during our second and third year of training, and funding is available during our first year if desired.

In preparation for the ABEM certifying examinations, practice written exams are given every month and oral examinations are given every other month. We also participate in the annual ABEM in-service examination.
